Symantec needed a redesign for their global storefront which would incorporate ecommerce in 11 languages and currencies, display the products available for each language, and have each translated product downloadable once the transaction was complete. The use of a globe along with slates to show the different languages available was an important aspect of communication. Layout was also key in providing as much information about the product list as possible without having the page appear unorganized. Symantec is second only to Microsoft in e-commerce software sales, much in part due to their global store.
