Press Coverage quotes from Microsoft, USA Today, and Entertainment Weekly were animated in the window to give the nuke boilerplate more appeal as a nationally recognized e-zine. Nuke's content was updated hourly by staff editors and utilized technologies such as Active X, ShockWave, Java, Real Audio, Real Video, and quicktime. The Nuke entity was acquired by Ziff-Davis publishing in the fourth quarter of 1996.
